John brings a unique set of business experiences and coaching  expertise to his clients.  His background of being a successful leader in many businesses along with his  experience in coaching executives helps him understand at a “gut level” the personal and business issues a leader is facing.  Clients trust his instincts and insights because he has been in their shoes.

 

John has worked with executives in entrepreneurial and established companies and in hi-tech, low-tech and service businesses.

 

John earned his BA from Augsburg College and his MBA from the University of Minnesota. 

 

John worked in management at Exxon and Target early in his career and then was a leader several early stage, venture capital backed companies. 

 

He was CEO of Zycad Corporation, a venture capital backed, public, high growth technology company.
